Commissioned by the Province of Utrecht and Routebureau Utrecht, we are working on the optimisation of the cycle junction network in the province until upcoming spring. The network has existed in the province of Utrecht for quite some time and most of the signposting is in need of replacement.
Together with the Routebureau, all municipalities in the province have taken a close look at the cycle routes within the network. Newly constructed cycle paths have been added, less attractive paths have been removed from the network, creating a new high-quality cycling network.
The new network will soon consist of over 1850 kilometres of signposted cycling routes, which is some 350 kilometres longer than the current network!
